Design Forum Finland presents Sebastian Jansson: Singular Pluralist, a unique exhibition that furthers industrial designer Sebastian Jansson’s diverse exploration of concept development. The exhibition is a mini-retroperspective on Jansson’s newly established career. His projects and prototypes have previously been exhibited in Milan, Paris, Zurich, Basel and Stockholm. Sebastian Jansson: Singular Pluralist is the first exhibition show casing Jansson’s versatile spectrum of work in Finland.
The exhibition showcases both industrially produced products, one-offs, prototypes, material compositions and drawings, so that audiences can experience the entire design process from inspiration to completion.
Sebastian Jansson: Singular Pluralist is about the point in time, about significance and consequence - and the movement of a creative body.
Design Forum Showroom is a two year project and activity granted by Finnish Cultural Foundation. The space is managed by Design Forum Finland and the exhibition programme is headed by Aalto University, Grafia, Ornamo, Design District and design Forum Finland.
The aim with Showroom is to expose interesting, topical and experimental phenomena within design from various fields. The intension is to provide visibility for designers and design.
