During Helsinki Design Week, industrial designer Sebastian Jansson presented five new projects for four different manufacturers in an exhibition entitled “Sebastian Jansson: New Projects”.
“The initiative is to bring together partners, customers and friends. I want to emphasise the collaborative aspect of a project. The whole development team plays a crucial role. All projects presented are results of extensive codevelopmental processes,” says Sebastian.
The exhibition is a continuation of last year’s exhibition, “Sebastian Jansson: Singular Pluralist”, which presented a broader spectrum of concepts, prototypes and work in progress. This year’s exhibition presents projects ready for production.
Characteristic for this years collection is the appreciation of materials, attention to details and extensive use of crafted wood. Nevertheless, Sebastian’s continual enthusiasm for yellow is well noticable.
